TGR Haas F1 Team, a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, is seeking a Junior Composites Technician to join their team in Banbury, UK. This role supports the delivery and contribution of departmental and organisational objectives, travelling to each race as a full-time member of the race team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations within the Composites department, working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure high standards of service, compliance, and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Composites department through bonding, trimming, and repair practices associated with composite components
- Reporting reliability issues and seeking advice before undertaking any out-of-the-ordinary tasks
- Maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the work area
- Following Engineering procedures and protocols
- Undertaking trimming and bonding of composite assemblies
- Building and maintaining trim and bonding jigs
- Collaborating with the Composites team daily regarding workloads, fault reporting, and diagnosis
- Tracking composite consumable stock levels
- Assisting and supporting chosen departments to facilitate turnarounds, engineering projects, and event support
The ideal candidate will have a GCSE or High School diploma, experience within a composites manufacturing environment, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
