We are seeking a Facilities Equipment Service Technician to join our team at the Indiana Auto Plant. As a Facilities Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements on facilities equipment and systems. You will also participate in a reliability-centered maintenance program and provide mentorship and teambuilding through work habits, communication, and the sharing of knowledge and expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Complete preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems
- Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability, capability, and yield
- Perform equipment failure analysis and troubleshoot equipment problems
- Participate in a reliability-centered maintenance program
- Provide mentorship and teambuilding through work habits, communication, and the sharing of knowledge and expertise
Qualifications:
- Completion of 2-year technical degree or equivalent equipment service experience
- Desired: 3 years of experience in a Facilities environment (industrial or heavy commercial)
- Working knowledge of Facilities low and medium voltage electrical equipment and Building Management Systems
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
