Electronic Arts is seeking a Rendering Software Engineer to join the EA SPORTS UFC team in Vancouver, British Columbia. The team is responsible for building the technology behind immersive, high-quality visuals across multiple platforms.
As a Rendering Software Engineer, you will improve visual quality, performance, and player experience while partnering with Engineers, Artists, and Designers. You will develop and maintain rendering features, engine components, and tools, as well as research and implement real-time rendering techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain rendering features, engine components, and tools
- Research and implement real-time rendering techniques
- Collaborate with Art and Design teams to turn visual goals into technical solutions
- Debug, profile, and optimize CPU/GPU performance
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional C++ development experience
- 2+ years working with real-time rendering engines
- Experience with DirectX 12, Vulkan, Metal, or similar APIs
- Experience with graphics debugging, profiling, optimization, multithreading, memory management, and PC or console development
- Experience developing or implementing real-time rendering techniques
- Experience in utilizing AI-assisted development tools
The EA SPORTS UFC team works in a hybrid model, with three days per week onsite at the EAV Studio in Burnaby, British Columbia. The role reports to the Senior Software Engineer.
