We are seeking a Therapy Aide to join our Physical Therapy Outpatient team in Wausau, WI. The successful candidate will work part-time, 48 hours every pay period, with varied day hours between 6:30am – 6:00pm, Monday – Friday.
The Therapy Aide is a non-licensed worker who has completed job training and works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist and carry out patient care to pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Requirements:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- On-the-job training of complex technical duties
- Clear demonstration of competence at performing Physical Therapy Aide duties
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Previous applicable experience beneficial
