As a Senior Technical Artist (TA), you will lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge pipelines, workflows, and technology innovations used by UFC content creators. You will act as a key strategic partner to development teams, driving the creation of shared, scalable, and forward-thinking solutions. Your responsibilities will include mentorship, setting standards, and influencing technical direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement advanced tools to elevate content creation capabilities
  • Optimize complex pipelines and provide expert-level support and guidance to artists and other technical artists
  • Lead the resolution of complex technical issues and master debugging and optimization techniques
  • Mentor other technical artists and provide technical leadership on projects

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in technical art, pipeline production, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or C#; experience with C++ is a strong plus
  • Deep expertise with multiple 2D/3D art packages (e.g., Maya, Houdini, Substance Suite) and modern game engines
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex tools and pipelines
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools and critically reviewing AI-generated code
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align artists, engineers, and leadership
