We are seeking a Product Manager to help develop Cloudflare's Spectrum product, delivering secure, performant protocol-level connectivity that meets customer needs while driving business value.

As the Spectrum Product Manager, you will tackle the unique challenge of securing and scaling protocol-level connectivity for the world's most demanding Internet traffic. You will shape the future of Cloudflare's network by defining a visionary roadmap that identifies competitive market opportunities and solves high-stakes technical problems at a massive scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent customers, build intimate relationships, and bring their voice into the creation process.
  • Develop the product vision for your area, ensuring it works for current and future customers.
  • Evangelize the vision to align stakeholders and ensure context.
  • Make data-driven roadmap decisions and prioritize features that drive business value.
  • Measure success, own the measures used to define success for your product, and track them throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Author use cases, prioritize requirements, and translate observations and customer feedback into a prioritized product backlog.
  • Collaborate across teams, creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of previous product management experience.
  • Domain expertise in making deployment decisions based on data.
  • Distributed systems experience to drive the scaling strategy for deployment.
  • Experience presenting new products and features to customers.
  • Strong customer and stakeholder empathy.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, drive consensus, and deliver in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets.
  • Experience with telemetry pipelines and modern observability platforms.

Nice to Have:

  • BS/MS in a technology- or business-related field.
  • Hands-on experience with command-line tools used for interacting with APIs, debugging, and testing.
  • Scripting/programming experience.

Compensation:

  • Estimated annual salary of $141,000-194,000 for Washington D.C. based hires.
