Responsibilities
- Prepare and de-prepare test vehicles by installing and removing wind tunnel equipment and vehicle parts.
- Design and fabricate attachment fixtures for vehicle testing.
- Configure the test section and test systems.
- Install and remove test vehicles into and from the wind tunnel.
- Execute dynamic vehicle test plans.
- Operate complex HMI software.
- Program, prove out, and troubleshoot automated test procedures.
- Safely operate all test systems, including the wind tunnel, main fan, rolling road system, and data acquisition system.
- Perform data analysis and transfer.
- Monitor real-time test and facility data for anomalies.
- Interface with and support customers in the prep bays and wind tunnel.
- Troubleshoot complex test systems.
- Control PCs, PLCs, test instrumentation, and DAS software.
- Author, edit, and refine DAS configuration files for testing.
- Receive and release test vehicles.
- Maintain accurate status of vehicles and facility in the laboratory management system.
- Install and remove camouflage from test vehicles.
- Wash vehicles as necessary.
- Support facility maintenance and cleaning activities.
- Move test vehicles around the facility as required.
- Provide support to other technicians.
- Set daily priorities and goals with the team.
- Communicate daily with the on-coming shift.
- Clean and organize all facility areas.

Salary
- This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300-$124,500.
