We are seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Planning – Wafers, based at our Corporate Headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.
In this role, you will manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly supply plans with business leaders, providing mentorship on supply and inventory positions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysing planning strategies and priority trade-offs to optimise supply and meet customer demand and revenue targets
- Presenting weekly supply changes to executive management
- Developing, mentoring, and leading a team of high-performing supply chain planners responsible for wafer/die supply
- Collaborating with foundry partners to drive closure of near-term wafer supply shortages and forecasting longer-term capacity requirements
- Overseeing cross-functional alignment with backend planning, capacity planning, and engineering teams
- Guiding continuous improvement efforts and projects in support of organisational strategies
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain/operations, preferably with a background in semiconductors or wafer/chip planning
- At least 4+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP, advanced planning software/ERP, and other business software applications
- Demonstrated agility and flexibility in a fast-paced, constraint production environment
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with senior executive staff
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing global manufacturing with foundry suppliers and partner teams around the world
- Proven problem-solving, analytical, and complex modelling skills
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and people concurrently
- Ability to find creative, out-of-the-box solutions and approaches to complex problems
