HSBC's Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) Credit & Capital Management (CCM) team is seeking a Director, Head of Global Corporates Coverage (TMT, I and T, Consumer and Healthcare) to lead a high-performing team and ensure exemplary risk management acumen and control standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and leading a high-performing, client-centric Business Credit Office (BCO) team
- Ensuring seamless client experience and consistency of service globally
- Implementing a common, reliable, and predictable underwriting and lending process
- Demonstrating strong effective credit risk acumen to protect the business from exposure
- Collaborating with local and global stakeholders to implement the overall strategy for wholesale credit and lending
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and overseeing teams responsible for executing credit and lending servicing journeys
- Monitoring and analysing customer feedback to improve customer outcomes
- Collaborating with stakeholders to implement governance frameworks
- Supporting the management of financial and non-financial risks
- Developing and maintaining relationships with regulators and auditors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in credit and lending, with a strong background in managing loan portfolios
- Experience with global corporates preferred, with a focus on TMT, Industrials, Healthcare, or Consumer sectors
- Advanced financial acumen and credit assessment skills
