As a Primary Care Sales Consultant Striker, you will be accountable for implementing sales strategies for an approved Cardiorenal product, consistent with Bayer's compliance standards and applicable legal requirements, for key targeted Health Care Providers (HCPs) and hospital systems within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop professional relationships with primary care, nephrology, endocrinology, cardiology, pharmacy staff, and potentially neurology
  • Drive appropriate utilization of approved cardiovascular and menopause products
  • Leverage expertise and knowledge of diabetes, cardiovascular, neurology, chronic kidney disease, and menopause marketplace to anticipate and manage business opportunities and challenges
  • Provide strategic and tactical planning input to internal stakeholders
  • Develop and implement effective customer-specific business plans
  • Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of physician specialists
  • Understand and meet assigned customers' product and business needs while adhering to Bayer's ethics and compliance standards
  • Anticipate potential barriers to goal achievement and propose solutions
  • Handle customer objections effectively and exceed customer expectations
  • Leverage emerging technologies and AI to enhance performance
  • Comply with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience
  • Proven track record of consistent high performance in sales
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster an environment promoting ethical behavior and compliance
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree
  • 5 years of successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales experience
  • In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular and/or diabetes and/or menopause disease states
  • Product launch experience
  • Strong analytical and computer capabilities
  • Virtual sales experience
  • Strong local relationships with HCPs

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $124,300 to $186,500
  • Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission
  • Benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
