Microsoft AI is seeking a Principal Privacy Product Manager for its Health vertical. This role involves designing and implementing privacy strategies for health AI products, such as Copilot Health and frontier AI model development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in health data, privacy, and policy, as well as experience working with engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Guide privacy decisions across the product experience, including feature design and sensitive data use
- Set and prioritize privacy controls for health AI scenarios and drive implementation
- Lead privacy design reviews for health AI features
- Own data governance expectations across the health product lifecycle
- Monitor emerging health and data policy developments and drive changes
- Drive privacy program improvements through repeatable patterns and metrics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in product management or software development
- 6+ years of experience disrupting a market for a product or feature
- 4+ years of practical experience creating and maintaining compliance programs
- Experience translating policy and privacy requirements into shipped product controls
- Experience leading privacy/compliance engineering programs for AI/ML products
- Practical experience in health privacy, health policy, and/or health data governance
Salary: The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 – $274,800 per year. In specific locations like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the range is USD $188,000 – $304,200 per year.
