Twitch's Enterprise Platform & Technology (EPT) organization is looking for a Software Development Engineer II to build systems integrating SAP and AWS , extending enterprise ERP with cloud-native services and agentic AI to power Finance and enterprise functions.
You will work at the intersection of SAP enterprise systems and modern cloud engineering, building AWS-hosted APIs and pipelines that interact with SAP, and developing agentic AI tooling that automates Finance operations.
Responsibilities:
- SAP Engineering (~50%): Design, build, and maintain integrations between SAP and downstream systems; write ABAP, SAP HANA SQL, and CDS views; and develop SAP APIs.
- AWS & Agentic AI Engineering (~50%): Build and operate AWS-native services; deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using CDK; and design, build, and ship agentic AI systems.
- Cross-cutting: Collaborate with Finance stakeholders; own production systems end-to-end; and improve engineering practices.
Requirements:
- SAP: 4+ years of hands-on SAP development experience; experience building integrations using File-Based and API-Based patterns; and experience with S/4HANA top-down development approach.
- AWS & Modern Engineering: 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services; proficiency in a modern language; experience with infrastructure-as-code; and demonstrated use of AI tools.
- Shared: Experience testing and debugging APIs; understanding of OAuth 2.0 authorization flows and OpenID Connect; strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles; and finance domain knowledge.
