As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead end-to-end data science initiatives from problem definition to deployment and monitoring. Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing statistical and machine learning models to detect cheating, fraud, account abuse, and other platform risks
  • Building scalable features, risk signals, and detection frameworks using gameplay telemetry, player behaviour, and operational data
  • Investigating complex abuse patterns and translating insights into models, rules, and recommendations
  • Establishing best practices for model evaluation, monitoring, and impact measurement
  • Collaborating with product, security, and operations teams to develop data-driven prevention strategies
  • Mentoring junior data scientists and promoting reusable data science practices

Required qualifications include:

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R and advanced SQL
  • Experience leading end-to-end machine learning projects and building statistical models
  • Expertise in model evaluation, feature engineering, and translating business problems into analytical solutions
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and security teams

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in gaming, anti-cheat, trust & safety, or cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with gameplay telemetry, player behaviour analytics, and live-service game operations
  • Experience operationalizing ML solutions with cloud and data platforms
  • Balancing detection effectiveness with player experience, operational efficiency, and business impact
