– Sourcing Polymer (PE, PP, PVC) by developing a business plan that covers procurement, revenue, and expense controls.

– Developing new suppliers, maximizing sourcing volume and enhancing business relationships.

– Maintaining and reporting sourcing and procurement information in a timely and accurate manner.

– Understanding suppliers’ end markets and procurement strategies.

– Continuous communication with internal counterparts in other countries to ensure timely and accurate solutions to increase efficiency.

– Increasing the presence of company in polymer business by attending appropriate industry conferences and company meetings.

Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited school(preferred)

– 5 years of domestic sourcing + exporting experience in the polymer industry(must)

– Proven experience in exporting US locally sourced products to Europe, Latin America and Asia etc.

– Sourcing experience at chemical distribution companies(preferred)

– Ability to travel domestically and internationally for business trips

– Ability to create new opportunities and convert sourcing strategies into tangible results

– Resourcefulness and persistence in prospecting potential clients and suppliers

– Excellent communication skills
