Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Good Samaritan Davenport.
The position is PRN, covering the Davenport Skilled Nursing Facility and Davenport Home Health clients as caseload increases and for PTO coverage.
The salary range for this position is $37.50 – $62.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
- Conducts examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.
- Utilizes tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.
- Documents client/patient/resident information for evaluation, establishes therapeutic plans, and modifies them if necessary.
- Educates clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.
- Demonstrates and incorporates knowledge of current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents.
Requirements
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
- Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
