As a Manufacturing Technician for our Soda Springs, ID location, you will provide high-quality operation skills for furnace tapping processes.
This role involves general maintenance services, operating equipment, and making repairs to ensure proper plant operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating equipment associated with furnace tapping processes
- Performing routine and non-routine operation tasks during furnace delays and upset conditions
- Assisting with maintenance work and shutdowns
- Implementing ESH Compliance requirements
- Applying computer skills, such as email and plant maintenance system
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in temperatures up to 110°F
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Pass a drug screen test
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of industrial, mechanical, electrical, or related experience
The role offers an hourly rate of $31.46 during training and $40.58 upon completion, plus benefits like healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave.
