We are seeking a Manager, Information Management to join our International Wealth & Premier Banking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data assets owned by US IWPB Data & Analytics, partnering with offshore Data Management teams, and providing leadership on all data processes.
As a Manager, Information Management, you will:
- Act as a key business translator and liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure requirements are clear, feasible, and outcome-focused.
- Retain a hands-on capability to self-deliver key analyses and data deliverables where needed, alongside driving execution through teams.
- Partner with Local Business, Technology, Group Data & Analytics, Risk, Compliance, and Operations leaders to align enterprise data initiatives to priority use cases and value streams.
- Drive end-to-end data governance and data management disciplines, including data ownership, data quality, metadata management, lineage, retention, access controls, and issue management.
- Own the data product portfolio, including curated datasets, business metrics, analytical assets, and reusable data products.
- Establish and run fit-for-purpose quality control processes so data and data-driven outputs are delivered with strong controls and “right-first-time” execution.
You will likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Proven and progressive analytic experience or equivalent, preferred in Data Product Management or Data warehousing with exposure to business reporting & analytical deliverables.
- Master’s degree preferred / Bachelor’s degree required in information systems, data management, data analytics, business, statistics, economics, finance or operation research field.
- Excellent quantitative & analytical skills. Understanding and experience of warehouse data modeling, data lineage management, technical data transformation documentation and implementation.
- Proven problem solving, planning, project management and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to analyze data, develop insights and recommend business strategy changes with associated financial benefits in terms of efficiency and functionality.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, and ability to support & supervise less experienced analysts both locally and offshore.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple data product implementation projects, develop project plans, communicate with Senior Management & Stakeholders, track & guide development work.
- Understanding of ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) and data pipelines implementation needed. Ability to trace transformation of data across the different stages in pipeline, detect issue points and recommend solutions.
- Experience working in Cloud environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience in SAS is preferred. Strong SQL knowledge required.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix platform with basic scripting is a plus.
- Financial Industry experience preferred.
