Multimatic Inmet is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team. Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, this entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to grow in industrial maintenance, with exposure to hands-on repairs, vendor coordination, and project assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrode inspection and installation
- Conduct building systems preventative maintenance
- Clean, change filters, and coolant for Motoman, Fanuc, and Fronius welders
- Carry out daily preventative maintenance activities
- Lubricate various pieces of equipment
- Maintain washline
- Work with contractors
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
- Work overtime as required
- Comply with IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards
- Work safely at all times and comply with all legislative requirements of the OHSA
Qualifications:
- 1-2 year Millwright pre-apprenticeship an asset
- Forklift license an asset
- DIY experience with mechanical/electrical repairs
- Experience with hand tools
- Related field experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic Excel and Word software skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong problem-solving techniques
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work day shift (8:00 AM – 4:10 PM)
The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be $32.00 – $49.00.
