CoreWeave is seeking a GSOC Operator to join our 24/7/365 team in Livingston, NJ. This role supports the protection of CoreWeave personnel and infrastructure, corporate offices, data centers, other monitored locations, and the physical security systems that support those environments.

GSOC Operators continuously monitor physical security and situational-awareness systems; assess, document, and coordinate response to physical security, life safety, cyber-physical, and monitoring-degradation events; execute approved access and credential workflows; and serve as a central communications hub for internal teams, onsite security, service providers, emergency responders, and other authorized stakeholders.

Security Monitoring & System Health

  • Conduct proactive, continuous monitoring and operational checks of Genetec Security Center, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, alarm, environmental and life-safety notification, and related physical security systems.
  • Assess and validate alarms using available video, access-control, site, and contextual information; perform approved first-line troubleshooting; and escalate system faults or monitoring degradation to the responsible engineering, network, facilities, provider, or site team.
  • Document, route, track, and escalate physical-security system issues and related work items through resolution, including coordinating technician access and confirming restoration of monitoring capability.

Access & Credential Operations

  • Process approved physical-access and credential requests, perform required identity-verification steps, and produce, quality-check, package, ship, track, secure, suspend, or deactivate credentials in accordance with established procedures and authorization requirements.
  • Conduct authorized after-hours virtual escorts and maintain continuous monitoring, communication, and documentation for the duration of each escort.

Incident Management & Emergency Response

  • Serve as the initial intake and coordination point for physical-security, life-safety, cyber-physical, and monitoring-degradation events; assess available information and initiate required response actions without unnecessary delay.
  • Create and maintain incident records in Ontic, assign initial GSOC severity, and initiate approved PagerDuty and private/incident escalation workflows when required.
  • Coordinate the physical-security component of active incidents, including onsite response, CCTV review, access-control correlation, evidence preservation, factual status updates, and documented transfer of incident ownership when another function assumes the lead.
  • Initiate and support post-incident reviews for qualifying events by preserving evidence, reconstructing timelines, documenting lessons learned, and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate shift-log entries and complete structured written and verbal handovers of open incidents, access requests, monitoring degradation, and other unresolved operational items.

Communication, Intelligence & Documentation

  • Serve as a central communications hub, providing clear, timely, and factual updates through approved channels to CoreWeave teams, onsite security, service providers, emergency responders, and other authorized stakeholders.
  • Operate Wave PTX Dispatch to monitor, acknowledge, and coordinate radio communications using assigned call signs, plain language, and closed-loop communication.
  • Monitor threat, weather, provider, and other situational-awareness sources; assess potential impact to CoreWeave people and locations; and prepare approved advisories, BOLOs, SITREPs, or other internal products.
  • Execute authorized Everbridge notifications and monitor delivery, acknowledgements, assistance requests, and emergency-accountability activity.
  • Maintain accurate, contemporaneous records in Ontic and the designated shift log; use Jira and other approved systems for access and service-request workflows.
  • Produce clear, timely incident summaries, timelines, evidence references, and approved reports for authorized stakeholders.
