We are seeking a Floor Scrubber Operator to join our team at Multimatic in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a full-time, 1st shift position.
As a Floor Scrubber Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our manufacturing facility and supporting preventative maintenance programs. Your duties will include:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery
- Conducting daily plant walks and completing checklists
- Ensuring the outside building perimeter is clean and well-maintained
- Operating a floor scrubber throughout the plant facility
- Collaborating with plant personnel to improve overall cleanliness and order
- Working on various equipment, including plumbing, piping, air systems, and HVAC
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision
- Be able to obtain a motorized vehicle license to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating boom lifts
- Be able to work at heights and in confined areas
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Possess demonstrated organizational skills and experience
