We are seeking an Equities Technology Relationship Manager to join our team at Equity IT in New York.

As an Equities Technology Relationship Manager, you will serve as the primary technology contact and advocate for Equity Portfolio Managers and their analysts across the region. Your responsibilities will include managing end-to-end technology onboarding for new equity investment teams, partnering with each team to understand their day-one requirements and documenting ongoing technology and AI needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technology contact and advocate for Equity Portfolio Managers and their analysts across the region.
  • Manage end-to-end technology onboarding for new equity investment teams, from the candidate stage through their transition into the firm.
  • Partner with each team to understand day-one requirements and document ongoing technology and AI needs.
  • Maintain accurate technology user profiles and clear records of open items, accountable owners and target completion dates.
  • Coordinate across Business Management, Operations, Trading, Data and other functions to align expectations and drive delivery.
  • Communicate progress and risks through the appropriate management channels, escalating issues when necessary.

Requirements:

  • At least five years of experience in a client-facing relationship management, technical account management, product management or project management role.
  • Financial services experience working directly with equity investment professionals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the credibility to engage effectively with senior investment professionals and engineering leaders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, accountable owners and tight deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of equity investment workflows, including research, portfolio construction and risk management, as well as the technology and tools that support Portfolio Managers.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to translate investment team needs into clear, documented requirements for development teams.

Benefits:

  • The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000.
