CoreWeave is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team in Sandusky, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining data center operations, conducting hardware and network diagnostics and repairs, and performing root cause analysis of hardware and software failures.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability
- Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs
- Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
- Train internal teams
- Develop documentation
- Provide technical support to data center teams
- Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware
- Maintain inventory
- Assemble and install equipment
- Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment
- Travel up to 10% of the time to other data center locations as required
- Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while on scheduled on-call
Requirements:
- Computer hardware experience (troubleshooting, assembling)
- Linux Operating System experience
- Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods
- Ability to maneuver in cramped or elevated spaces
- Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills
- Availability to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 environment
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and react quickly to issues
Preferred qualifications:
- Hands-on or education-based experience with computer hardware, data center experience, computer networking experience, Python, Bash, or other scripting languages experience, experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS, or an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field
The base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $83,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
