🕒 Position Details

  • Location: Wyndmoor, PA
  • Role: Inpatient hospice unit (CNA or HHA)

🧡 What You’ll Do

  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Provide direct patient care, including assistance with:
    • Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
    • Toileting and incontinence care
    • Oral care, skin care, and repositioning
  • Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and mobility
  • Support patient comfort through non-medical interventions (e.g., positioning, linen changes, environmental adjustments)
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
  • Assist with meal setup and feeding, as appropriate
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families with compassion and respect
  • Follow infection control, safety, and hospice care protocols
  • Document care provided according to facility guidelines

Requirements

  • CNA certification or HHA credential preferred
  • Previous caregiver or healthcare experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive end-of-life situations with professionalism and empathy
  • Strong observation and reporting skills
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Physical ability to lift, turn, transfer, and assist patients safely
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Proof of Influenza Vaccination or approved Medical or Religious Exemption
  • Employees designated to travel between sites must maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
