Duties:

– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project specifications and requirements. – Coordinate and supervise a team of carpenters and other construction workers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. – Assign tasks and provide guidance to team members, ensuring work is performed according to industry standards and safety regulations. – Oversee quality control measures to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. – Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to plan and execute construction projects effectively. – Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for carpentry projects. – Monitor project progress, identify any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed. – Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and material usage.

Requirements

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry. – In-depth knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. – Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team of carpenters. – Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. – Solid understanding of quality control principles in carpentry work. – Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment. – Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Certifications Desired:

• OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 even better)
• Scissor Lift
• Rigging
• CPR/Frist Aid
