Electronic Arts is seeking an Assistant Producer to join the EA SPORTS NHL team in Vancouver, British Columbia. The successful candidate will work with the production and design team to create narrative content for players.

The EA SPORTS NHL franchise is renowned for its innovative approach to sports gaming, connecting millions of players globally to their favourite teams and players. As an Assistant Producer, you will be responsible for:

  • Updating player, team, league, and arena databases
  • Coordinating and assisting with data entry verification
  • Researching and evaluating current database entries for updates throughout the hockey season and off-seasons
  • Providing live launch support
  • Creating writing content and modifying existing content
  • Collaborating with NHL producers to understand targets and priority changes
  • Communicating progress and quality with the NHL team
  • Managing dependencies and coordinating deliverables across teams

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1+ year of experience in game design and/or production, preferably on a live service with tight deadlines
  • A deep understanding of hockey and a passion for the sport
  • Good knowledge of the EA SPORTS NHL franchise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team setting and autonomously on individual projects
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate and critique existing ideas
