At Ford Motor Company, you will develop electrical charging system calibration in the powertrain control module for gas engines, EVs, and Hybrids. Your responsibilities include creating calibration for alternator control torque manager, engine idle stability for electrical transients, alternator voltage set point controls, and alternator diagnostics. You will also release the calibration into Ford system software and support powertrain development trips for engine calibration.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in Product Development, preferably in Calibration. Experience with ATI vision, INCA, Vector CANalyzer, and Intrepid tools is required, along with knowledge of CAN/CAN-FD AUTOSAR and Cyber securities.
