We are seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Technician to join the FUCHS Smart Services (FSS) team in Greeneville, TN. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and maintenance of our clients' industrial fluids, including coolants, wash, and other liquids.
The role involves:
- Operating and performing routine preventive maintenance on lubrication and fluid decantation systems, including filter changes and system cleanings
- Inputting data daily and generating performance reports
- Handling materials, operating lift trucks, and moving drums and totes
- Making fluid corrections as needed based on testing results in the absence of the site leader
- Following procedures and adhering to all customer and safety requirements
- Participating in daily communication meetings with site supervisor and communicating effectively
To qualify, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and/or walk for approximately 4-8 hours daily
- Previous work experience working in a manufacturing environment related to lubricants and/or laboratory testing preferred
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to navigate the internet and email
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs as well as standing and/or walking for approximately 4-8 hours daily
- Previous forklift experience is desired
