Multimatic Butler is expanding its workforce and searching for dynamic individuals to join its team.
As a Production Operator, you will assemble and load materials, work in process and finished goods, ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently perform all assignments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Operate machines, set up and changeover
- Follow oral and written instructions, and communicate clearly with co-workers and supervision
- Review process books daily for new quality or process changes
- Perform minor troubleshooting, minor machine repair, and basic preventative maintenance
- Assist other material handlers with production duties as needed
- Ensure all production paper is filled out completely and accurately
- Participate in corrective action or continuous improvement activities
- Ensure all quality standards are met
- Rework product as required
- Attend future training as deemed necessary
- Load, unload, and assemble products
- Train future individuals in this position
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training
- Ability to safely operate machinery and material handling equipment
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to read and use measuring tools such as micrometers and dial calipers
- Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
