As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and budgeted delivery of game features, overseeing project schedules, and managing a team of developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a development team consisting of Software Engineers, Animators, Artists, Producers, Designers, and Quality Verification engineers.
  • Provide project management support, scheduling work aligned with project goals, tracking dependencies, identifying and mitigating risks, and facilitating prioritization decisions.
  • Collaborate with other project managers to resolve cross-team issues and improve project management processes.
  • Ensure project setups and progress align with leadership expectations, completing status reports as required.
  • Establish processes to ensure clear workflows, documented processes, and engaged team members.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project management or project lead experience with production lifecycles, processes, and project planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Game Development, or Business.
  • Experience in a software development environment, including using tools like Jira.
  • Experience working with diverse teams with various skillsets, experience, and backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with tools like Miro, Slack, Excel, Google Sheets, and other project-tracking and reporting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex information and tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different project timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to use generative AI productivity tools for daily workflow optimisation, early-stage ideation, and rapid prototyping.
