TGR Haas F1 Team, a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, is seeking a Junior Electronics Technician to support its electronics workshop team. The role is based in Banbury, UK, and is offered on a fixed-term contract for 9 months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months.
The successful candidate will play an active role in the manufacturing of chassis wiring harnesses, building-up of sensors, actuators, and electronic assemblies. They will also support the electronics trackside team at race and test events, and collaborate with Systems Engineers to test in-house build parts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manufacturing and testing electronic assemblies
- Supporting race/test car build and trackside events
- Collaborating with Systems Engineers and other teams
- Implementing in-house test RIGS and equipment
- Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in racing car electrical and electronic systems, experience with Raychem System 25 and motorsport/aerospace connectors, and knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
