The Supply Chain Compliance Project Manager is a hands-on builder within the Supply Chain Program Development team who designs, documents, and deploys the compliance processes that allow our supply chain to operate in a defense environment.
This role requires someone who can take ambiguous regulatory and contractual requirements,FAR/DFARS, ITAR, export controls, and customer flow-downs,and partner with subject matter experts to translate them into clear, executable workflows that withstand internal review, customer scrutiny, and government audit.
You'll own complete compliance workstreams from discovery through implementation,conducting stakeholder interviews, mapping current-state processes, identifying gaps and control weaknesses, designing future-state solutions, and leading the deployment and change management efforts required to make them stick.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end process development for compliance initiatives,from interpreting requirements to delivering documented, deployed, and adopted processes.
- Conduct discovery through stakeholder interviews and workshops, then design and document compliance processes, SOPs, workflow diagrams, and desk guides.
- Map current-state workflows to identify compliance gaps and control weaknesses, then drive corrective actions to closure at root cause.
- Lead deployment and change management, including training, adoption tracking, and post-implementation refinement.
- Support audit readiness and government assessments (DCMA, CPSR) by ensuring documentation, traceability, and evidence are complete and accessible.
- Partner with Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering to embed compliant processes into daily operations and existing systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, compliance, or process design within aerospace, defense, or another regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement new processes from concept through deployment.
- Strong facilitation and requirements gathering skills, with the ability to work through ambiguous problems with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, high-quality documentation habits, and persistence in driving issues to resolution.
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace and defense.
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, CPSR, or DCMA expectations.
- Experience supporting audits, CPSR readiness, or internal compliance reviews.
- Certification in process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) or change management.
- Experience with process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro) and ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience with supplier documentation, traceability, or material compliance.
