You will be joining the Color, Material, Finish (CMF) Design team at Logitech, part of the Design, Capabilities, Sustainability & Inclusivity (DCSI) group.
As a CMF Design Intern, you will work alongside senior designers across various design disciplines and engineering, focusing on sustainability and material innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to brainstorming and concept development, bringing fresh creative perspectives to translate into desirable design concepts.
- Creating sketches, renderings, and prototypes to explore aesthetic iterations, form, and CMF elements.
- Participating in design reviews and contributing to discussions, curating the visual mood and emotional tone of innovation projects.
- Conducting research on materials, manufacturing processes, and market trends to broaden the material ingredient funnel.
- Preparing presentations and documentation for design proposals to show how circular materials can achieve premium aesthetics and hand-feel.
- Collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure design feasibility.
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates a proactive, collaborative, detail-oriented, adaptable, responsible, curious, and passionate work ethic.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Industrial Design, Textile & Surface Design, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sustainability frameworks and Material Innovation.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software and digital design tools.
- Strong sketching and rendering skills.
- A keen eye for details.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity.
