We are seeking a Senior Waiter to join our team on board. As a Senior Waiter, you will be responsible for ensuring ultimate guest satisfaction at your station while following company service procedures. You will also play a key role in teaching, training, and guiding your team to achieve excellence and exceed guest expectations.

A Senior Waiter is integral to providing exceptional guest experiences and adhering to company standards. Your daily actions, whether they seem minor or significant, have a considerable impact on guest satisfaction and the company's reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain DMS tablets and products.
  • Learn guest names according to company standards.
  • Adapt to and implement relevant restaurant company standard procedures.
  • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to Public Health regulations and procedures.
  • Participate in the IPM program and attend directed training sessions.
  • Minimize breakage and wastage, following proper disposal procedures.
  • Adhere to company guidelines on uniforms and personal hygiene.
  • Execute the Seabourn HESS-MS relevant to your position.
  • Assist with additional duties as requested by ship management.

Service Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Assistant Maitre D'Hotel and Restaurant Manager.
  • Take food orders in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure your station is ready for service and meets guest preferences.
  • Follow service procedures as per company guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Diploma from a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent.
  • At least two years of full-time experience in a four or five-star hotel/restaurant.
  • Experience with international clientele and good English language skills.
  • Previous cruise line experience is preferred.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Knowledge of USPH and international Public Health rules and regulations.
  • Understanding of good quality restaurant service.
  • Self-discipline, communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and understand verbal and written instructions.
