The Land Records Specialist/Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and improving the historical and current recordkeeping processes and procedures of Georgia Power's Land Department. The successful candidate will serve as the Land Department's subject matter expert for records and information management, developing and maintaining recordkeeping standards aligned with corporate RIM policies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the Land Department's subject matter expert for records and information management
  • Developing and maintaining recordkeeping standards aligned with corporate RIM policies
  • Providing guidance on records lifecycle requirements to ensure compliance
  • Designing and documenting recordkeeping workflows across various teams
  • Overseeing the Land Department's transition from hybrid to a fully digital records environment
  • Performing reviews to ensure records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Management, or a related field
  • At least five years of records management experience
  • Thorough understanding of land records and recordkeeping practices
  • CRA (Certified Records Analyst) certification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Technical proficiency with software applications for data entry and electronic document management systems
