We are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Pensacola, Florida. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring every step of the care journey is seamless, efficient, and supportive.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
- Verify insurance coverage and secure prior authorizations
- Coordinate physician referrals and optimize schedules
- Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments
- Perform over-the-counter collections and reconcile charges weekly and monthly
Qualifications:
- High school or GED diploma required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare
