Essel Environmental is seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist to join our team. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Project Types:Wet/Dry Underground Utilities, Infrastructure
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
– Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards
– Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
– Provide safety training to employees on various topics including OSHA regulations and emergency response procedures
– Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents
– Collaborate with management to ensure a safe work environment
Requirements
– Education in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
– Proven experience working in safety compliance, risk management, or related field
– Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Certification in EHS or related field is a plus
